Jacquelyn Alice (Douthett) Eagal

Jacquelyn Alice (Douthett) Eagal, 66, of Butler passed away at 4:18 a.m. Friday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

She was born July 30, 1949, in Butler to the late William Joseph Douthett and Sara Alice (Miller) Douthett.

Jacquelyn worked for Butler County Children and Youth as a caseworker, retiring in 2012.

She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler, where she taught Sunday school and participated in the Stephen Ministry Program and Bible Studies. Jacquelyn was a longtime member of the church's community meal program.

She is survived by her husband, John Eagal; one son, Alan McGrath and his wife, Kelly, of Butler; one daughter, Cristen Fend and her husband, Garrett, of Butler; four grandchildren, Haylee and McKenzie Fend and Abigail and Lydia McGrath; one brother, Joseph Douthett and his wife, Becky, of Monroe, Ohio; and four nieces and nephews.

EAGAL — Friends of Jacquelyn Alice (Douthett) Eagal, who died Friday, April 8, 2016, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler.Memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Goodman of the First United Methodist Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church Community Meal Ministry, 200 E.
