Jackilynn Porter
Jackilynn “Jacki” Joy Porter, 38, of Emlenton, formerly of Sarver, passed away Thursday while in the company of loving family members at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh after a long battle with cancer.
Jacki was born Oct. 22, 1977, in Natrona Heights. She was the daughter of Kathy L. (VanTine) and Barry C. Porter of Emlenton. She was a 1996 graduate of Freeport High School.
She worked as a waitress and bartender at various restaurants in the area. Jacki enjoyed bowling, bingo, scratch-off tickets and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children, Alexander Seachrist and Samantha Seachrist, both of Center Township; her four sisters, Tammy and Timothy Gerlach of Butler, Deserea Porter and Shane Smith of Butler, Pamela Porter of Saxonburg and Joanna Porter of Butler.
She also is survived by her maternal grandfather, Henry H. VanTine Sr. of Freeport.
Jacki was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vera M. VanTine; her paternal grandparents, Arthur D. and Lillian (Ashbaugh) Porter; her aunt, Vera M. McGuire; and her uncle, Henry H. VanTine Jr.
