18 years ago today, we were able to share what would be our last Mother’s Day together.

I remember that it was a quiet celebration since you were not so well, but the best part was that we were with each other.

In all the years that have passed since that day, I still celebrate this day thinking of all the memories that we made together.

I cherish all the time we had with each other, and I am so thankful to have had such a loving and wonderful mother!

I am grateful for the way in which I was raised and hope that I have become half the woman you were.

Even though you are not here with me, I keep you in my heart and know that one day we will be together again!
