Fannie “Finfan” E. Findley
Fannie “Finfan” E. Findley, 73, of Renfrew passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born April 17, 1942, in Butler, she was a daughter of Peg Benninger and the late Lee H. Benninger.
She had worked for the VNA as a home health aide for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her mother, Peg Benninger of Renfrew; three daughters, Connie (Mike) Sweeney of Zelienople, Bonnie (A.J.) Johnson of Knox and Donna Findley of Renfrew and her fiance, Tim Kester; four grandchildren, Alyssa (Keith) Bacheler, and Morgan, Madison and Troy Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Rylie, Isaac and Elliott Bacheler; numerous nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Lee (Sandy) Benninger of Prospect and Gary (Melinda) Benninger of Boyers.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Findley, who passed away Sept. 29, 1974; they were married Aug. 3, 1963; and a special friend, Ralph Burchardt.
FINDLEY — There will be no public visitation for Fannie “Finfan” E. Findley, who died Saturday, April 2, 2016. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler.
