Ralph A. Baldauf

Ralph A. Baldauf, 82, of Butler passed away peacefully Monday surrounded in prayers by his family and the pastor at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born July 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Anna E. (Glaser) Baldauf.

He retired from the family business, Walter J. Baldauf and Sons Water Well Drilling and Excavating.

He enjoyed operating the backhoe and the bulldozer and in early years painting cars. He was happiest listening to old time country music, helping, talking to and having a drink with his many friends.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving are one brother, Joseph A. Baldauf; four sisters, Alice L. Baldauf, Louise C. Baldauf, both of Butler, Joan M. (Baldauf) Weigle and her husband, Alvin E. Weigle, of Cortland, Ohio, and Ilene M. (Baldauf) Barnes of Graysville, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George A. Baldauf; and three sisters, Mary Ann Baldauf, Ruth A. Baldauf, all of Butler, and Donna Marie (Baldauf) Lemley of Waynesburg, Pa.

BALDAUF — Friends of Ralph A. Baldauf, who died Monday, March 28, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
