Harry A. Bouch
Harry A. Bouch, 88, of Buffalo Township passed away Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, Jefferson Township.
Born May 14, 1927, in Brackenridge to the late George and Helen (King) Bouch Sr., Mr. Bouch has lived in Buffalo Township area since 1951.
Harry was an inspector in the bending department of PPG Industries, Creighton.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church, the Scrollers Club of Western Pennsylvania “Blazen Blades” and the Buffalo Township Fire Department and EMS. He was a former member of the Freeport Masons and a volunteer with the Red Cross.
A graduate of Har-Brack High School, Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, taking walks and wood working, but he especially enjoyed being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Dorothy L. (Westendorf) Bouch; his children, Robert A. (Linda) Bouch of York, Pa., Thomas L. (Karen) Bouch, Soddy Daisy of Tennessee, Maria L. (Lyle) Steinhagen of Jefferson Township and Valerie A. (Scott) Thomas of Winfield Township. He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Jr. and Richard Bouch.
BOUCH — Visitation for Harry A. Bouch, who died Friday, March 25, 2016, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Duster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave., TarentumServices will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cabot United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jason L. McQueen, pastor, officiating.Military honors will follow. Burial will take place at Mt.
