Thomas J. Frobe, 80, of Slippery Rock, whose obituary appeared in Tuesday's edition, passed away at 4:32 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.

His age was listed incorrectly.

A Mass for Thomas J. Frobe, who died Saturday, April 23, 2016, will be at noon Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Kevin Poecking as celebrant. One of Tom's requests was that family and friends attend in casual blue jeans.

Memorials in Tom's memory may be made to the Slippery Rock Rescue Squad or to any humane society chapter.
