Rock baseball picks up split against Seton Hill
Three Slippery Rock University players tallied at least three hits in The Rock's 12-7 baseball victory over Seton Hill Sunday afternoon at Critchfield Park.
The game was the second of a doubleheader. Seton Hill won the first contest 9-3.
In The Rock's win, Alex Bell, Jimmy Divosevic and Ty Zimmerman went a combined 10-for-12 with five runs scored for SRU, which scored four times in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 5-5 tie.
Tyler Walters and Preston Falascino hit home runs in the win.
Shawn Holman pitched a complete game for The Rock (10-35, 5-19).
In the first game, SRU starting pitcher Matt Gordon was tagged for seven runs (six earned) on nine hits in his five innings of work and took the loss.

Sophomore midfielder Tia Torchia scored three times to pace SRU to an 11-7 victory over Shippensburg.
The victory ensures The Rock (9-7, 5-6) of its second straight winning season.
