James R. “Tiny” Walters

James R. “Tiny” Walters, 78, of Evans City passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 17, 1937, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Clarence J. and Minnie M. (Briggs) Walters.

Tiny enjoyed woodworking, painting, hunting and fishing in his earlier years. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Robert D. Walters and his fiance, Tammy, of Butler; his stepson, Dale E. Hauserman and his wife, Cindy, of Butler Township; five grandchildren, Christina Marie, Bobbie Leigh, Robert Andrew James, Paige Marie and Mark; and his great-granddaughter, Lakyn Diane.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane L. (Hauserman) Walters.

WALTERS — Friends of James R. “Tiny” Walters, who died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, will be received on Sunday, March 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of a service at 8 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. He will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Tiny's family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
