Auditions and crew call for Butler Little Theatre’s Summer Youth Production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” will be from 1 to 3 p.m. May 14 and 15 at the One Howard St. theater.

Actors ages 9 to 24 can audition. All will do a cold reading but can share talents in singing, playing a musical instrument or performing a brief monologue from a source other than the show.

Performance dates are July 14 to 17. Executive producer is Connie Donovan and student director is Shannon Donovan.

Additionally, Sing Hosanna! will have auditions for “Peter Panic,” a comedy musical, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the group’s Stewart Hall, 310 W. Airport Road.

Ages 7 to 19 as of last Sept. 1 can audition for roles for eight to 10 boys and 11 to 13 girls plus an ensemble. Material will be provided.
