FORT MYERS, Fla. — Madelene Sagstrom won the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial on Sunday at Cypress Lake for her first Symetra Tour title, and Lorie Kane took the Legends Tour event.

The 23-year-old Sagstrom, the Southeastern Conference player of the year last season at LSU, closed with a 3-over 75 in strong wind for a one-stroke victory. She earned $30,000 to take the season money lead with $52,914, breaking the $50,000 mark in a tour-record three events.

“I feel so good at the moment,” Sagstrom said. “I had such a great time on the golf course today. It was definitely tough, but we played pretty well and I had such a good time.”

Sagstrom finished at 9-under 279.
