Tracy Casper Yeager

Tracy Casper Yeager

Tracy Casper Yeager, 42, of Prospect was received into God's arms at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 15, 1973, Tracy is the daughter of David and Geralyn Angert Casper of Butler. She was a member of St. Christopher's at the Lake Catholic Church in Prospect.

Tracy graduated from Moniteau High School in 1991. She then attended LaRoche College from 1991 to 1995 and graduated with a degree in biology.

Tracy's desire to help and care for others, two legs and four, were her life's work. Early in life, Tracy apprenticed at the family business, Casper's Market. After graduating college, she began her professional career in the veterinary field in the offices of the Slippery Rock Veterinary Hospital and Butler Veterinary Associates.

Tracy's work and caring for others came full circle, as she most recently returned to the family business as the head of purchasing while her father was recovering from heart surgery.

Through the years, Tracy cared for a plethora of cats and other creatures. Her nieces and nephews were a source of enjoyment and were often the beneficiaries of her humor and good will. Tracy was quick with a comeback, full of wit and spoke with a candid tongue. She had a smile that could light up a room and left everyone she met uplifted.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, along with her parents, Dave and Gerry; her husband, Craig Yeager; her in-laws, Steve and Sis Yeager of Pittsburgh; her sisters, Diane Casper and Amy Baptiste and her husband, Larry; her nieces, Rylan Warner and Camille and Annalyce Baptiste; her nephews, Lejen and Carsen Warner, McKinley, August and Mathew and Benjamin Baptiste.

She will be remembered by adoring aunts, uncles and cousins.
