Marie K. Weser, 85, of Butler died Saturday evening at Concordia at the Orchards in Butler.

Born March 19, 1930, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Mark R. Weser and Marie (Quinn) Weser.

Marie had worked as a medical secretary for VA Butler Healthcare, and before that she worked for the Butler Cooperative Egg Auction.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler, the Womens Council of St. Peter and NARFE.

Surviving is her half-sister, Ann Kirk of Butler; seven nieces and nephews; and two cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nell Weser; her sisters, Dorothy Weser and Eileen Beck; her brother, Harry M. “Bud” Weser; and one nephew, Dr. Kevin Weser.

WESER — A Mass of Christian burial for Marie K. Weser, who died Saturday, March 12, 2016, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
