Judy J. McCaslin
Judy J. McCaslin, 96, of Lakeland, Fla., and West Sunbury passed away at 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Judy was born April 16, 1919, in Byesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Julia and John Jacobs.
She was employed at the Goodyear Air Craft during World War II. Later, she moved to West Sunbury with her husband, Norman “Mac” McCaslin.
She was a former secretary at Moniteau High School and later at Pierce College in California. Later they retired to Lakeland, Fla.
She is survived by her son, George (Ben) and his wife, Diane, McCaslin of West Sunbury and Lakeland, Fla. Also surviving are her two grandsons, Shane McCaslin of North Washington, Pa., and Eric McCaslin of Wisconsin; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Judy also is survived by two sisters, Lucille White of Lakeland, Fla., and Marilyn Herron of Georgia. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years, Norman McCaslin; five brothers; three sisters; and her stepson, Laird McCaslin of West Sunbury.
MCCASLIN — Judy J. McCaslin, who died Friday, March 11, 2016, was cremated in Florida and will be buried in West Sunbury.
