Helen Louise (Gold) Pringle
Helen Louise (Gold) Pringle, 90, a lifetime resident of Butler, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Butler to the late Charles L. Gold and Ann (Thompson) Gold.
Helen was a 1945 graduate of Butler High School. She was an office manager, clerical and medical secretary for a variety of doctors. She volunteered extensively at the Butler Veterans Affairs. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and taking trips in her motor home. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Donald E. Pringle and his wife, Heather of Butler; two grandchildren, Elan and Landon Pringle; one sister, Twila Maxine Klugh of Butler; one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Gold of Erie, Pa.; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank Lee Pringle, who she married Nov. 8, 1950, and who passed away May 6, 1983; one brother, Harry Robert Gold; one sister, Elizabeth (Gold) Weisberg; and her companion of 26 years, Harry B. Barnes Sr.
PRINGLE — Friends of Helen Louise (Gold) Pringle, who died Monday, April 11, 2016, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will immediately follow at noon with the Rev.
