Cherron M. Peters
Cherron Mary Vitale Peters, 65, of Prospect passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
Born Feb. 18, 1951, in Savannah, Ga., she was the daughter of Rocco and Jacqueline Vitale.
She attended the Presbyterian Church of Prospect.
Cherron had previously worked as a LPN, and most recently enjoyed working at the Butler Walmart in the deli department for 13 years.
She loved time with her two granddaughters, and enjoyed reading, tending to her flower gardens and antiques.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca (Michael) Peters Smock of Butler; her mother, Jacqueline Vitale of Prospect; her two granddaughters, Autumn and Michaela Smock of Butler; her four brothers, Joseph (Lynne) Vitale, Rocco (Linda) Vitale Jr., Kevin (Suzanne) Vitale and John (Pam) Vitale, all of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rocco Vitale Sr., and her nephew, Nicholas Vitale.
PETERS — Friends of Cherron Mary Vitale Peters, who died Friday, March 11, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Cort of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect officiating.
