A Butler Township Fire District 3 crew responds to a head-on crash at 5:30 p.m. Thursday that caused a traffic backup for westbound motorists on Route 422. According to reports, the crash happened when an unidentified SUV pulled out from Greenwood Drive, causing Brent T. Lash, 39, of Kittanning to swerve into a car driven by Marisa Plowman, 33, of Pittsburgh. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. The SUV driver did not stop.
