'Visual Dialog'
The Associated Artists of Butler County and the art department of Slippery Rock University will present “20/20: A Visual Dialog” Wednesday through April 10 at The Butler Art Center.
An opening reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
This exhibition features works by 20 emerging artists who are part of the university's professional practices course Art Seminar, instructed by professor Heather Hertel.
The title, “20/20: A Visual Dialog,” was chosen to expound upon the concept that each of the 20 artists brings a vision and style all their own to the show.
A wide variety of two- and three-dimensional art works have been included. Media include metals, fibers, painting, ceramics, prints, sculpture, drawing, mixed media and photography.
Exhibiting artists include: Morgan Cartwright, Kaitlin Cliber, Kaylin Clingensmith, Anthony DeRosa, Kathryn Fitzgerald, Allyson Fuhs, David Gordon, Molly Hazenstab, Danielle Heltzel, Lori Hornaman, Amanda Jamison, Jamie Mulac, Erin Oulton, Alyssa Pauletich, Travis Sallack, Shari Sarver, Deanna Shields, Molly Smith, Bernard Stote and Leah Zackowitz.The Butler Art Center at 344 S.
