YORK — Authorities say they found a camouflage mask and a state police ID and badge in the vehicle of the retired state trooper who police say shot and killed two people before he was killed during a robbery at a Pennsylvania Turnpike toll plaza.

Live rounds of ammunition, binoculars and gloves were also found in the 2004 BMW belonging to 55-year-old Clarence Briggs.

Authorities said the retired state trooper shot and killed toll collector Danny Crouse and security guard Ronald Heist on March 20 at the Fort Littleton exchange.
