Tommy Lynn Eskridge, 72, of Moon Township, formerly of Louisiana, passed away Tuesday.

Born May 6, 1943, in New Iberia, La., she was the daughter of the late Thompson V. and Lois Elaine (DeSoto) Owens.

She was the beloved wife of Walter Eskridge; the loving mother of Kevin Eskridge of Cartersville, Ga., and Kim (David) McMillan of Acworth, Ga.; the grandmother of Asher McMillan; the sister of Sherry Owens of Hammond, La., Matt Owens of Baton Rouge, La., and the late Mary Janine Roth; the aunt of Lennie Roth, Jamie Owens and Heather Green.

She was the daughter of a minister and a member of the West Hills Baptist Church.

She was an elementary school teacher, who touched a lot of lives and kept in touch with many former students over the years. She was an encourager, and loved children and a friend for life.

ESKRIDGE — A viewing for Tommy Lynn Eskridge, who died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the COPELAND FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Larry Walker officiating.
