Norma Jean Hoover
Norma Jean Hoover, 82, of Butler passed away Friday at her home with her family there.
She was born Oct. 22, 1933, in Butler County, the daughter of the late Harry P. and Rosa (Badger) Elliott.
Norma was a member of Rider Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family, her church family and friends and enjoyed all the church activities.
In her earlier years, she loved hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.
Surviving are her husband, Walter L. Hoover, whom she married June 29, 1951; her daughter, Sandra Wilson of Butler; her grandson, Kirk Wilson; and her granddaughter, Tracy Wilson.
She also is survived by three great-grandchildren, Cole, Kenzee and Carter.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Wilson of Butler; four brothers, Lester Elliott, Gilbert Elliott, Robert Elliott and Richard Elliott, and one sister, Wilda Foulk, all of Butler.
HOOVER — Services for Norma Jean Hoover, who died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, will be private.Interment will be at the Rider Lutheran Cemetery, West Sunbury.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, PA 16061.The William F.
