Erma Miller

Erma Miller, 88, of 4121 Loring St., Meridian, received the call from the Lord Friday evening while she was asleep in her home. She passed away with her family around her and her rosary in her hands.

She has joined those who have passed before her including her husband of 51 years, Edward L. Miller; her parents, Cornelius and Veronica Ritzert McPaul; and her Uncle Herman and Aunt Marcia. Her new activities will be in a wonderful place where she can garden, and read and keep an eye on her family from above.

She was a member of St. Conrad's, then St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers for many years. She also worked at the Lenten fish fries, where you could find her with her friends cutting pies. She was on the funeral committee and delivered Meals on Wheels at 85 years old.

We want you to know that she did a great job raising her five children, her two sons, Thomas E. Miller (Cookie) of Herman and Patrick M. Miller (Bridget) of Chicora; and three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Kathryn) Unger of St. Cloud, Fla., Donna L. Miller and Mrs. Kurt (Joanne) Crosbie of Foxburg. She enjoyed her 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also took great pleasure in the Thursday visits from her brother, Richard McPaul of West Sunbury.

We will remember her smile, her warmth, her ability to listen to everyone, and her love for life. She made a difference in the lives she touched.
