Emma Montgomery, 98, of Cabot, formerly of Sarver, passed away Saturday at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Born Feb. 22, 1917, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Herman Kettering and Laura Exley Kettering.

Emma was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver and a former member of the Buffalo Township Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her son, Dennis (Kathleen) Montgomery of Sarver; two grandsons, Dennis Montgomery of Saxonburg and David Montgomery of Sarver; and her close friend, Gail Arvay of Sarver.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Montgomery, who died Oct. 8, 2002; five brothers; and six sisters.

MONTGOMERY — Friends of Emma Montgomery, who died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at thefuneral home with the Rev.
