Dolores H. Hofmann

Dolores H. Hofmann, 82, of Ross Township died Monday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

She was born in Pittsburgh on May 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Klugh Nist.

A homemaker, Mrs. Hofmann was an avid golfer and member of the Wildwood Golf Club. She was a Catholic.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna J. Ritchie and her husband, Kurt, of North Hills and Doreen M. Newman and her husband, Michael, of Zelienople; a son, Richard G. Hofmann and his wife, Denise, of Prospect; grandmother of Chad A. Jockel, Drew T. Ritchie, Melissa D. Newman, Michael B. Newman, Derrick Hofmann, Jacob Hofmann and Zachary Hofmann; great-grandmother of Alexander Fotheringham and Oliver Jockel; and a brother, Joe Nist of Zelienople.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Hofmann, who died on Dec. 6, 2000, and by her siblings, Marge, Louis, Elmer, Jack, John and Richard Nist.

HOFMANN — Friends of Dolores H. Hofmann, who died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Kilian Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars.
