Lois B. Shindledecker
Lois B. Shindledecker, 90, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born Sept. 3, 1925, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thomas V. Black and Anna (Flock) Black.
Lois was an office worker at Westinghouse in Gateway Center. She also taught school in Salem, N.J.
Lois was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg and St. Ambrose Lutheran Church in Pennsville, N.J.
She enjoyed playing bridge, cross stitching, baking, traveling and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Lisa Dawn Ryder of Valencia; her grandson, Michael Allen Murty of Valencia and his children, Anthony Colin Smith-Murty and Castiel Michael Crowley Murty; and her granddaughter, Dawn Marie Schumann of Louisiana and her children, Morgan Lynn Murty and Emmalee Elaine Schumann.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Shindledecker, and her sister, Anne Black.

Shindledecker, who died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, there will be no public visitation.Relatives and friends will be welcome to attend her memorial ceremony at 11 a.m. Feb. 13 at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, with the Rev.
