Batik fiber arts will be displayed April 9 and 16 at the Old Stone House.

BRADY TWP — The Stone House Center for Public Humanities will present the exhibition “Here & There” April 9 and 16 at the Old Stone House, Route 8. Visitors can tour the exhibit from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

“Here & There” is a collaboration between the students and art faculty at Fiber Art Studios at the Academy of Fine Arts, Gdansk, Poland, and Slippery Rock University.

The show explores batik craftsmanship and techniques used to create the designs on cloth.

School-aged children can try basic batik activities both days. School teachers and art camp directors can register students ahead of time to ensure enough materials for projects. For more information, call 724-738-4586.
