Stanley Ross Stewart
Stanley Ross Stewart, 60, of Butler passed away Friday at 3:40 a.m. at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
He was born Sept. 9, 1955, in Butler to Donald R. Stewart and the late Ana (Sloan) Stewart.
Stanley attended Golden Opportunities and worked at PARC for several years. He attended Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church. Stanley enjoyed bowling and swimming.
He is survived by his father, Donald R. Stewart; two brothers, Tomas Sloan and his wife, Paulette, of Natrona Heights and Edwin Sloan of Texas; two sisters, Kathleen Shidemantle and her husband, David, of Harmony and Joanne Ellenberger and her husband, Dave, of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
STEWART — Friends of Stanley Ross Stewart, who died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Merry Meloy of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church officiating.Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to ARC, 100 N.
