Evalyeen June (McClanahan) Green

Evalyeen June (McClanahan) Green, 73, of Ford Cliff passed away Thursday at ACMH Hospital.

Born Aug. 25, 1942, in Rural Valley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Leola A. (Walter) McClanahan.

She was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County, working as a medical secretary.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, sewing and cross-stitching.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Nicole) Green of Cowansville; her sisters, Bonni (John) Jordan of Dayton, Pa., and Audrey (Wilmer) Goldstrohm of Kittanning; her sisters-in-law, Joan McClanahan of Chicora and Florence McClanahan of Girard, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert F. McClanahan and Theodore L. McClanahan; and her sisters, Genevieve Sybert and Lawana Baptiste.

GREEN — A private service for Evalyeen June (McClanahan) Green, who died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, will be conducted at the family's convenience. Interment will take place at the Rural Valley Cemetery.Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.Memorial contributions may be made in Evalyeen's honor to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
