Stella M. Buzard
Stella M. Buzard, 90, of Butler passed away Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Nov. 17, 1925, in Madison Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Norris E. Fair and Maude L. (Peters) Fair.
She worked for seven years at Clarion Onized Glass in Clarion. She then worked at Castle Rubber in East Butler for 30 years, retiring in 1988.
She was member of the Freeport Road Missionary Alliance Church. Stella enjoyed traveling, and she traveled to Israel twice. She enjoyed spending time with her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Dale (Viola) Buzard of Butler; her grandsons, Rodney Dale (Candice) Buzard of Butler and Douglas M. (Stacey) Buzard of Dresden, Ohio; her great-grandchildren, Brittany L. Buzard of Butler, Brandon L. Buzard of Butler and Shaye C. Buzard of Dresden, Ohio; her brother, Joseph (Lorraine) Fair of New Kensington; and her sister, Rosella (Richard) Cochran of Tarentum.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Buzard, who she married Feb. 20, 1943, in Rimersburg, Clarion County, and who passed away Sept. 27, 1978; her great-grandson, Michael R. Buzard, who passed away July 11, 2002; her niece, Susan Marie Borts; one brother; and five sisters.
BUZARD — Friends of Stella M. Buzard, who died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Thompson officiating.Private interment will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clarion County.
