Pastor David Bish
Pastor David Earl Bish, 54, of 558 Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pa., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday.
Born March 27, 1961, in New Kensington, he was the son of Bill and Miriam (Neal) Bish. His mother preceded him in death. His father survives and lives in Smicksburg, Pa.
On June 15, 1985, he married Lori (Dunn) Bish, who survives.
Dave was the founding and lead pastor of the Tri County Church. He loved to hunt, fish, read, spend time with his dogs and ride his motorcycle. Most importantly, he loved his family and friends.
He dedicated his life to serving God by reaching people and changing lives. As a church leader, Dave's highest value was living like Jesus, loving like Jesus and leaving behind what Jesus left behind. He would want everyone to know that Jesus is and always should be the subject.
Dave is survived by four children, Kyle David Bish of DuBois, Braden Mark Bish of Pittsburgh, Jocelyn Beth Godo and her husband, Jakob, of DuBois, and Bevan Earl Bish, of DuBois; three sisters, MaryBeth Grujich, Dottie Kirk and Diane Green; and his brother, Mark Bish; and their families.
BISH — There will be no public visitation for Pastor David Earl Bish, who died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016.Two identical celebration of life services will be conducted. The first will be at 6 p.m. Saturday. and the second one at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the Tri County Church on the Hill.The Rev. Jim Lyon, national director for the Church of God ministries, will co-officiate each service with the Rev. Dan Smith, executive pastor of the Tri County Church.To accommodate all who wish to attend, respectfully choose one of the two identical services. If you are unable to attend, the service will be streamed live online at www.livestream.com/tcclive.Although flowers are appreciated, the family would prefer donations in Dave's memory be made to the Tri County Church, 1881 Old 255 Road, DuBois, PA 15801.
