This painting of a panda was shown in last year's Elementary School Art Show at The Butler Art Center. This year's school shows will run March 2 to 12 and 16 to 26 at the center, 344 S. Main St.

The Butler Art Center will host its annual Elementary School Art Show from March 2 to 12, with the opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. March 4.

Students can enter art through their school classes or on their own. Students in Butler County, whether in public or private schools, cyber or home-schooled, may enter their art in this show.

The show is being judged by two member artists.

Drop-off dates for artwork continue through Saturday during regular gallery hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Entry forms, payment, and identification labels must be received with the artwork.

Middle and high school students will have their work shown March 16 to 26 with a reception March 18.
