PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police say a drunken driver smashed into the front door of a house in the city’s Polish Hill neighborhood.

Police say the owners of the home were sleeping when 32-year-old Lorenzo Owens lost control of his vehicle and hit the house about 2:20 a.m. today. Neither Owens nor the home’s occupants were hurt.

Owens was in custody awaiting arraignment on charges including drunken driving, reckless endangerment and driving without a license.
