Donald R. Roccia
Donald R. Roccia, 66, of Zelienople passed away Saturday while in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and close friends.
Born March 6, 1949, in Butler, he was the son of Robert D. and Elizabeth (Marburger) Roccia.
Don was a graduate of the 1967 class of Seneca Valley High School. He went on to attend Edinboro University.
He served six years with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and was a member of the Crestview Community Presbyterian Church.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and training bird dogs. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Cynda (Rogner) Roccia of Zelienople, who he married Aug. 24, 1973; his parents, Bob and Betty (Marburger) Roccia of Cranberry Township; his brother, Wayne (Peggy) Roccia of Zelienople; his sister, Denise (Tony) DiVirgilio of Florida; his nieces, Jennifer (Larry) Moreau and Merrie Beth (Jesse) Houseman; his nephew, Dr. Wayne (Stephanie) Roccia; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
ROCCIA — In accordance with the family's wishes, services for Donald R. Roccia, who died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, will be private.
