COUNTYButler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., presents “Celebrate America” through Feb. 26. Butler County school students will have their art shown at The Art Center in March. Elementary school students in grades one through six will display their work March 2 to 12 with a reception March 4. Middle and high school students will have their work shown March 16 to 26 with a reception March 18. Students can enter on their own if their teachers or schools do not participate. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Call 724-283-6922 or visit butlerartcenter.org.Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is celebrating the Year of the Monkey with a gala Saturday at the Butler Country Club. The cash bar will open at 5:30 p.m. followed by hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Tom Panei. Cost for the black tie optional event is $125.
