2nd egg appears in bald eagle nestPITTSBURGH — A second egg has been spotted in the Pittsburgh nest of a pair of bald eagles who have returned after losing both of their eggs last year.The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania said the second egg was laid shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday. The couple’s first egg was laid late Friday or early Saturday. Court to delve into beer sales disputeHARRISBURG — Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court said Tuesday it was taking a case that pits the state’s beer distributors against the Liquor Control Board and the company that runs Sheetz stores.The justices will consider whether a convenience store can sell beer and gasoline without violating state law. They want the sides to argue the meaning of the words “location,” “place” and “property,” because the Liquor Code bans alcohol sales licenses in locations, places and properties where liquid fuels and oil are sold.
