Geraldine “Jerry” Gamble

Geraldine “Jerry” Gamble, 85, of Parker passed away Wednesday evening after a brief illness at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Jerry was born May 3, 1930, in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Breedlove Timco.

She was a well-known and respected waitress for most of her life at many local restaurants.

Jerry married James C. Gamble on June 22, 1963, and he preceded her in death March 27, 1998.

She was a member of the Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church, near Parker. Jerry had great faith and when she was unable to attend church, she very much loved to watch Joel Osteen on Sunday mornings.

She also enjoyed her horses and had a great passion for her dogs.

Jerry is survived by two sons, James (Shelly) Gamble of Parker and Roy Mahood of Parker; one daughter-in-law, Linda Mahood of Parker; one sister, Peg (Art) Montleone; one brother, Robert (Nancy) Timco of Beaver; and three sisters-in-law, Judy (the Rev. Leonard) Goughler, Joy (Gary) Rankin and Janet Timco.

Jerry was passionate about her grandchildren and loved each and every one of them. Her family would say that she lived for her six grandchildren, Sara (Steve) Dixon, Maggie (Rich) Chandler, Kami Mahood, Joe (Sharon) Facciani, Arin (Josh) Pollock and Haylee (Seth) Campbell; her six great-grandchildren, Eric Clinger, Ian and Abby Facciani, Larkin and Layton Pollock and Penelope Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition her parents and her husband, Jerry was preceded in death by her son, Don Mahood, and three brothers, Don, Jim and Ed Timco.

GAMBLE — At the request of the family of Geraldine “Jerry” Gamble, who died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, a private visitation will be at the Buzard Funeral Home, South Wayne Avenue, Parker.
