Marian E. Beneigh

Marian E. Beneigh, 88, of Butler died Friday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Feb. 1, 1927, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Clarence H. Beneigh and Frances (Osche) Beneigh.

Marian had worked at the Woolworth Department Store for 38 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, the Womens Council of St. Peter, Phase II, A.A.R.P., the Women of the Moose and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Paul and Clarence; and four sisters, Ethel, Geraldine, Gertrude and Eleanor.

BENEIGH — Friends of Marian E. Beneigh, who died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
