Harold L. Cunningham
Harold L. Cunningham, 85, of Bakerstown passed away Tuesday.
He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Elsie F. (Porter) Cunningham; the loving father of Richard Cunningham of Friendship, Martin (Debbie) Cunningham of Houston, Texas, Laurie Ann (Tom) Williams of Sarver, Karen (Ray) Seibert of Gibsonia and James (Sonsee) Cunningham of Ross; the brother of the late May Winkler; the proud grandfather of Ryan, Carly, Catherine (John), Brian (Meredith), Nathan, Anthony (Veronica), Brittany, Christopher, Jonathan and Emme; the great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Charlotte, Ruby and Jared; and he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Korean War U.S. Army veteran, Harold was a longtime member of the Bakerstown American Legion Post 548 and the Gibsonia VFW.
He worked for 43 years at Peoples Natural Gas Co., was active with the Northmont Brotherhood Club, the John E. Mair Lodge 729, the Syria Shrine and the NACO Caravan 19. Harold was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, where he was baptized in 1930 and served in numerous capacities throughout his life, including as a deacon and elder.
CUNNINGHAM — Family of Harold L. Cunningham, who died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, will welcome friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev.
