Gertrude M. Dreher
Gertrude M. Dreher, 91, of Butler passed away Monday at her home.
She was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Pittsburgh to the late Rudolph H. Gerber and Virginia (Lowe) Gerber.
Mrs. Dreher was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the General Richard Butler Chapter of the D.A.R.
Gertrude is survived by two sons, Byron W. Dreher and his wife, Cathy, of Butler and James S. Dreher and his companion, Melody, Richardson of Oceanside, Calif.; three grandsons, Benjamin Dreher, Nicholas Dreher and Cody Dreher; one granddaughter, Christina Irwin; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Dreher, who she married May 4, 1950, and who passed away June 28, 1992; one grandson, Thomas Dreher; seven sisters; and two brothers.
DREHER — Friends of Gertrude M. Dreher, who died Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Barbara E.
