Bruce E. Shidemantle
Bruce E. Shidemantle, 59, of New Castle passed away peacefully Thursday morning in the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 10, 1956, in Ellwood City to the late Arthur Mervin Shidemantle Sr. and Barbara Joanna Boak Scheidemantle of Portersville, who survives.
Bruce graduated from Riverside High School in the Class of 1974 and was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the Kerry Coal Co. for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kristen Shidemantle of Portersville and Stacie and her husband, Brandon, Grenet, of Butler.
He also is survived by two brothers, Arthur Shidemantle Jr. of New Brighton and Timothy Shidemantle of Ellwood City; one stepbrother, Martin Scheidemantle of Portersville; one stepsister, Cindy Scheidemantle of Portersville; his niece, Christine and her husband, Ross Haney; and his great-nephew, Skylar Haney.
SHIDEMANTLE — Friends of Bruce E.
