ADAMS TWP — Three educational donations were approved Tuesday by the Mars School Board.

The Edward and Bethel Kean Charitable Foundation once again donated $20,000 to the high school for the student scholarship fund.

The Keans, both of whom are deceased, had lived in Middlesex Township. The foundation first donated to the district in 2013.

The Kean scholarship donation will go to the Mars Planet Foundation for distribution to students.

An anonymous donor gave the elementary school $1,500 that he won in a contest at the Kellogg company.

The Mars Parent-Teacher Organization also donated $5,333 to the elementary school to help fund an indoor horizontal climbing wall at the school.
