Woman allegedly sells heroin to informant

CRANBERRY TWP — A 31-year-old woman is facing felony drug charges after she allegedly sold heroin to a police informant on two occasions.

Trista Orienza of Beaver Falls was arrested Nov. 24 and charged with seven felonies including several counts of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or deliver and criminal use of a communication facility.

Orienza, while under police surveillance, allegedly sold the informant 26 stamp bags of heroin for $370 on Aug. 15, 2014, according to the criminal complaint filed by officer Justin Hewitt of the Butler County Drug Task Force South.

They arranged a meeting in a public place after communicating via cell phones.

At the meeting she was allegedly joined by Angie Anzur, 35, of Coraopolis, who also was arrested and charged later with felony conspiracy and felony manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance. She has yet to have a preliminary hearing.

Orienza also allegedly sold an informant 20 stamp bags of a substance on Sept. 9, 2014, for $240. The substance was believed to be heroin, but was later tested and found to be counterfeit, according to court documents.

She waived the charges to court at her preliminary hearing Friday before District Judge David Kovach. She is free on her own recognizance.
