Julia Tassy Lundy

Julia Tassy Lundy, 98, formerly of Butler, passed away Nov. 27.

She is survived by her children, Marilynn, John, Phyllis and Bonny; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A resident of Butler for 39 years, she was employed by and subsequently retired from the International Staple and Machine Co., where she also served as the secretary of the local union.

She lived the past years of her life at Friends House Retirement Community and Nursing Home in Sandy Spring, Md., where she enjoyed being out in nature, watching the birds, tending to the plants in Flower Alley, visiting with family and friends and making crafts. She was loved and will be missed.
