Tanner J. Edwards

Tanner J. Edwards, 25, of Worth Township, Jackson Center, died Monday.

Tanner was born Dec. 9, 1989, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School, Class of 2008.

He was currently serving in the U.S. Army National Guard 1-107th FA, Hermitage. Tanner was employed as a corrections officer at the PA Department of Corrections, State Regional Corrections Facility, Mercer, Pa.

Tanner is survived by his wife, Stacy Edwards of Jackson Center; his daughter, Riley Grace Edwards of Jackson Center; his mother, Debra Minor and her husband, Kevin, of Jackson Center; his father, James Edwards and his companion, Constance Chepelsky, of Butler; his sister, Morgan Minor of Jackson Center; and his grandparents, Karen and Bud Bauer and James Edwards Sr. and Diane Edwards, all of Butler.

EDWARDS — Funeral services for Tanner J. Edwards, who died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, will be private Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, with the Rev. Tom Clyde, pastor of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, officiating.Burial will follow with military honors at the Union Home Cemetery, Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity or any organization that benefits the welfare of veterans.
