Robert L. Gebhart Sr.

Robert L. Gebhart Sr., 84, of Middlesex Township passed away Saturday.

He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Elvina M. (Spitznagel) Gebhart; the loving father of Robert L. (Linda) Gebhart Jr. of West Sunbury, Mary Lou (John) Shulik of Butler and William M. (Margaret) Gebhart of Saxonburg; the brother of Florence (Edward) Truver of Valencia and the late Marie Seif, Theresa Gebhart, Eugenia Bauman, Clarence Gebhart, Joseph Gebhart, Gertrude Kappeler, Helen Gebhart and his twin sister, Roberta Gebhart; the proud grandfather of Robert (Michelle) Gebhart III, Timothy (Julia) Gebhart, Arlene Gebhart, Douglas Gebhart, Michele Gebhart, Katelyn (Jacob) Graham, John Shulik, Daniel Gebhart, Teresa Gebhart, William Gebhart Jr. and the late Adam Gebhart.

He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Luke, Audrey, Charlotte, Copeland and Kylee.

Robert was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 95 for over 60 years.

He was also a devoted member of the Holy Sepulcher Church, and most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family and grandchildren.

GEBHART — Friends of Robert L. Gebhart, who died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Sepulcher Church with the Rev. Robert Cedolia as the celebrant. Interment will follow at the Glade Run Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations to the Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E.
