Rita G. “Sue” Lonzo
Rita G. “Sue” Lonzo, 71, of Harmony passed away Friday while surrounded by her loving family at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born May 7, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Regis and Regina Virginia (Kocab) Coleman.
Rita was a faithful member of St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
She worked as a custodian for the Seneca Valley School District.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and playing the slots. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Michael F. Lonzo, whom she married Nov. 13, 1996; her children, Lynette (Wayne) Shadish of Bridgeville, Mishell Potter of Connoquenessing and Bernadette Lonzo of Chambersburg; her grandchildren, James Lonzo, Samuel Lonzo, Justin Potter, Kristen Potter, Lauren Potter and Sarah Lonzo; her great-grandchildren, Brayden Lonzo, Liam Lonzo, Sophia Potter and Rhylee Beach; her brothers, Robert (Lynda) Coleman of Pittsburgh, Ronald (Barbara) Coleman of Pittsburgh and Richard (Jane Ellen) Coleman of Imperial; and her sister, Ronda (Lawrence) Niemczyk of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her brother, Regis Coleman, and her sister, Yvonne (Toots) Murphy.
LONZO — The family of Rita G. “Sue” Lonzo, who died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
