Matthew S. Dibell
Matthew S. Dibell, 51, of Erie passed away Tuesday at the Saint Vincent Health Center.
He was born Feb. 20, 1964, in Ashtabula, Ohio, a son of Donna Councilman Hood and Clayton Dibell.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
Matthew was a religion connoisseur and knew the Bible extremely well. He enjoyed time with family, especially his mom, dad and sister, Marcy.
He was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Jill and Jean Dibell; his stepmom, Beverly Dibell; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four siblings, Velma (Jami) Palochak, Bruce (Molly) Dibell, Rick (JoAnne) Dibell and Marcy (Jim) McKissick; many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ohio; and his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in both Florida and Pennsylvania.
