BUTLER TWP — VA Butler Healthcare is organizing a month-long food drive to kick off 2016 with the goal of helping needy veterans eat healthier.

The drive will focus on nonperishable items which will be collected throughout January and distributed in February.

Those interested in donating to the drive can drop items off at the VA’s 325 New Castle Road building, at the primary care main entrance in the basement, the first floor main entrance, in Room 516W, or at the Wellness Center.

The program is organized by the VA’s Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Program Committee.
