William “Bill” H. Perlinger

William “Bill” H. Perlinger, 82, of McCandless Township passed away Saturday at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was the beloved husband of 52 years of the late Selma “Sally” Perlinger; the son of the late Henry and Mary (Blakely) Perlinger; the brother of John (Patricia) Perlinger of Renfrew and James (Michelyn) Perlinger of Shaler; and the brother-in-law of Haifa Sibert of McMurray.

He also is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many longtime and loving friends.

Bill graduated from Duquesne University with a master's degree and taught English and French at the North Allegheny School District for over 40 years.

PERLINGER — A Mass of Christian burial for William “Bill” H. Perlinger, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alexis Church, 10090 Old Perry Highway, Wexford. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Hills Community Outreach, 1975 Ferguson Road, PA 15101, where Bill had volunteered or to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh., PA 15212.The Simons Funeral Home of Pittsburgh assisted with the arrangements.
