Kimberly A. Ekas
Kimberly A. Ekas, 58, passed away Saturday.
Born March 8, 1957, she was the wife of Charles A. Ekas of Saxonburg.
My loving wife has run her race. She blessed us with three beautiful daughters, Heather, Beth and Jennifer, affectionately known as “Charlie's Angels.”
Each girl blessed us with three fantastic sons-in-law, Leroy Kelley (Heather) of North Carolina, Ron Deal (Beth) of Butler and Joseph Brose (Jen) of Butler. They then blessed us with seven beautiful grandchildren, Josh, Adam, Leah, Trace, Julia, Charlie and Miko. She has one surviving brother, Jeffrey Wasilowski, of Chicago
Kim was a quiet woman, humble and pretty. A great cook, gardener and my best friend. She rarely spoke poorly of anyone and we'll sadly miss her. She will be remembered walking her beloved Yorkie, Sofia, on Main Street.
A Christian, her faith helped her survive six years after being diagnosed with cancer. To Heaven for Kim, to hell for cancer. If we all could learn from this fine lady, the world would be a much better place.
